Plain-English summary Our apps don't phone home. We don't track you. The website keeps standard server logs. That's it.

What R1 Apps software collects

Nothing, by default. R1 Apps software does not transmit usage data, telemetry, analytics, or any other information to R1 Apps servers. Apps run entirely on your machine.

Some apps connect to other systems that you configure — for example, sending OSC messages to a destination you specify, or polling a Dataton WATCHOUT Director on your local network. Those connections go where you tell them to, not to us.

What this website collects

Standard web server logs are recorded by our hosting provider (Vultr) for security, abuse prevention, and basic traffic analysis. Logs typically include:

IP address of visitors
Date and time of requests
URLs requested
Browser user-agent string
Referring URL (if any)

Logs are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above and are not sold, shared, or used to build profiles of individual visitors.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies. There is no analytics tracker, no advertising network, and no third-party embedded content that would set cookies on your behalf.

Third-party services on this site

None at this time. If that ever changes (for example, if we add a contact form that uses a third-party email service), this page will be updated to disclose what is in use.

Email

If you email us at the address listed on our contact page, we use that address to reply. We don't add it to a mailing list, and we don't share it with anyone.

Children

R1 Apps software and this website are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal information beyond standard server logs, there is generally nothing about you for us to provide, correct, or delete. If you have a specific question or request, contact us using the contact page.
